Mauro Zarate is the next nig thing thats playing in Lazio. He was actually supposed to go to Boca and he was close to it but Man City offered him alot of money. I think Ischia found Zarate when he was young and while Ischia was with Velez, I know Ischia is a friend of his family. I like Zarate alot, I’d love to see him on the seleciton team. I really dont like the direction Basile has this team going in. Whatever happened to Lucho Gonzalez who has been killing it in Porto. Lucho seems like the perfect fit for our midfield.

Boca is looking for a veteran Striker to step in under the pressure of the copa libertadores games.
Carlitos Tevez is a dunce, he is probably my favorite of all but 2 redcards in a row? he does not fit in either i read somewhere that he has 7 goals in 42 games for the albiceleste. Argentina needs somebody like Denis or Higuain who are killing it in europe. I like Denis because he plays big and he is strong in the air and has a rocket foot.
Now i have alot of respect for riquelme but he can not be on the selection team. He slows the game down too much and he only offers a couple of plays here and there. I’d like to see them groom Messi as the center play maker and get something going for the 2010 WC. I actually like the old guy Veron in there better than Roman because Veron plays back a little more and he compliments and supports these guys and actually plays a lil defense but we really need to find one of our many young midfielders scattered all over europe to help play the center mid spot for 2010.
